Questions about the Address Book

Q: How do I import an Address Book into a new identity?

A: Search on your hard drive for *.wab and write down the location of the file(s) you find. Start Outlook Express and log in as your new identity; click File > Import > Address Book, find the *,wab file and when you import it, it will be available to your new identity.

Q: Is there a method of saving your entire address book to a floppy disk?

A: If you are using Outlook Express (which I assume you are), click Start > Find > Files and Folders and run a search using this term: *.wab This will locate your Windows Address Book for you. When found, highlight the entry in the found items box and right click on it. On the new menu that pops up, choose Send To…. > 3.5" floppy. Your Address Book will be no more than 200-300kb (if that), so it will easily fit on a floppy disc. Just remember to put a disc into the drive before you start!
