SpeedBackup is a very easy to use alternative to the Microsoft Backup utility provided as standard within Windows operating systems. It has been used by businesses and home-users in both stand-alone and networked environments as their primary data backup for over three and a half years. Speedbackup uses the familiar 'Drives and Folders' Windows Explorer interface so that it is easy to locate the data that you wish to back up. One advantage of SpeedBackup over MS Backup is that the files and folders are not saved as one big *.qic file. SpeedBackup copies the files and folders over to your backup location exactly as they were on your hard drive, which makes restoration of any one file or folder as easy as 'drag 'n' drop'.

SpeedBackup works by overwriting a previously made backup each time Speed Backup is run. No complicated 'incremental' or 'differential' backups to worry about. All your data will be backed up each time you run the program. And as the files are not compressed, the program completes the task in just a few minutes - on average, it can save about 1GB of data in just over one minute. SpeedBackup is fast - even when saving data over a network!
